Migraine is a common headache disorder that causes bouts of intense pain, sometimes accompanied by vomiting, sensitivity to light and sound, and even paralysis. It affects men and women of all ages. The effects are often severe enough that they may impact the patient's physical ability to work or engage in other daily activities.

The exact cause of migraine has not yet been determined but its most characteristic symptom is an attack of pulsating pain which occurs on one side of the head. Migraine typically lasts from 4-72 hours but can last for several days or weeks if untreated.

Migraine is a disorder that affects the nervous system. It causes moderate to severe headaches, nausea, vision disturbances, and extreme sensitivity to light. The symptoms are triggered by exposure to various triggers such as food or artificial lighting. The exact cause of this disease remains unknown but it is believed that it may be due to fluctuation in brain chemicals which are released during menstruation or the menstrual cycle.

The best course of treatment for migraine involves pain relief medicines, acupuncture or other alternative treatments besides medication.
