OCD refers to Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. It is a type of mental illness that causes unwanted thoughts and obsession. It may cause sometimes compulsions. A person suffering from OCD can have unwanted thoughts repeatedly after an hour, their thoughts are beyond their control and also their thoughts or actions can create some difficulties for their work, social life and personal life too. Obsessive thoughts refer to worries about getting hurt and suspicious. It makes the people scared, possessive towards their things. and suspicious about surroundings.

Obsessive-compulsive disorder or OCD is an anxiety illness in which people have constant unwanted thoughts and unreasonable fears that can be classified as obsessions which lead to repeated compulsion to do something.Some examples of OCD are Worries about yourself or others getting hurt,checking, frequently locks, alarm systems, ovens, or light switches,a fear of things that might be dirty and contaminated or a compulsion to clean and wash,fear of using public toilets,eating out or shaking hands.

OCD is a mental health disorder that stands for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. It has somewhere become the most misused or misrepresented word in the field of Mental health. It is a mental health disorder that can be characterized by a cycle of behavior. It is a disorder characterized by persistent thoughts- obsessions, and repetitive acts- compulsions that are performed to reduce distress. OCD doesn't always involve cleanliness or neatness, as intrusive thoughts can differ for each one. Being a neat freak involves a desire for control, while intrusive thoughts lead to OCD's obsessions and compulsions.
