Lord Ganesha’s name is enough to fulfill every wish of yours, but having the idol of Ganesha in different colors means the fulfillment of different wishes.
To prevent your enemies from harming yourself - worship the form of a yellow-colored Ganpati ji.

If you want someone to love yourself, you should worship the idol of red color. For power as well, red-colored idol of Lord Ganesha is worshiped.
If you wish wealth, you should worship the Ganesha’s idol of green color.
