The Japanese novel series “No Game No Life” by Yu Kamiya gained so much popularity in Japan and all over the world that it was made into a TV series even before the last volume of the novel series was published. Later, a spin-off movie was also released by the name of “No Game No Life: Zero”.
Since then, all the anime fans are waiting eagerly for the second season of the series, and the reasons are many.

Although the production studio which created the anime and the movie, Madhouse, is numb over the subject of the sequel of “No Game No Life”, the movie had various suggestions of being a prequel movie. “Zero” undoubtedly sets a stage for a second season and even the series leaves the audience highly anticipating more of the series.
Apart from this, not all the volumes of the light novel were adapted for the anime and the movie, which tells us that the studio is not short of resource material to create further series. In fact, some believe that there can be a longer season two, and even season three with the amount of resource material and story that is left over.

Still, it’s been years now and there is no news of a sequel or a second season. The only news that was being circulated recently was that of the author being accused of plagiarism. He has allegedly traced the poses of the characters of other authors, which was revealed on social media by someone.
It turned out that he was just taking an inspiration for which he apologized to the authors he took ideas from and even paid some of them. So plagiarism can’t be at least the sole reason for the second season not making it on to the screens.

According to me, Madhouse is taking its own sweet time and trying to make the fans anticipate the season 2 as badly as possible. All we can do is wait and wait until they let off some info themselves.
