World Wildlife Day is celebrated every year on 3 March all over the world with the aim to educate people about the endangered flora and fauna species and preserve the world's biodiversity around the world.

The day is celebrated to raise awareness for wild animals and plants all over the world. The main motto to celebrate the day is to flaunt our beautiful forms of flora and fauna. The benefits that we get due to the conservation of Wildlife are huge. So, it’s a great measure to celebrate a day for the reasons for our existence. The wildlife in our environment benefits us in several ways like ecologically, scientifically, economically, socially, educationally, and many more. The day is celebrated also as world wildlife day to protest or fight against all the crimes made by humans on wildlife which has a great impact on the environment.
Every year, from 2013, the day is celebrated according to a theme which is a resolution too. The theme for the World Wildlife Day 2022 is “Recovering Key Species for Ecosystem Restoration”. The only reason to choose this particular theme for the world wildlife day 2022 celebration is to conserve the critically endangered species in the world. From several types of research of International Conservation of Nature (IUCN), it has been seen that more than 8400 species are critically endangered. We are indeed completely dependent on wildlife from food to clothing. All conservations will be inspired by the achievements of UN Sustainable Development Goals 1, 2, 13, 14, and 15 which are Poverty, Zero Hunger, Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns, Climate Action, Life Below Water, and Life Below Land respectively. The World Wildlife Day activities focus only on the conservation of our beautiful environment to lead a healthy life.
