It's no mystery that forgiveness plays an important role in most cultures, but are there are few cultures with a particularly interesting take on the subject?
For instance, in Japan they believe that if somebody is still waiting to be forgiven it can actually be passed down to future generations. These people may also have bad luck in every aspect of their life because their ancestors were counting on them. Imagine how much easier life could be for somebody who realizes that they need to forgive their grandfather, aunt, uncle etc.
