Kisan kanya is the India first colour picture which was directed by moti gidwani and produced by ardeshir irani it is known by large audience because it was the first colour film of indian cinema.The film was made in 1937 but the colur movies made regularly by mid of 1950 at that time made a movie in colour was one of the biggest achievement.But the first colour movie which was released was in 1908.
