Cars v/s Bikes has been an age-old debate in the country. While both have their pros and cons, some prefer using bikes for transportation while some flock to the side of cars. It is often argued that cars cause more pollution, lead to increased traffic and have a high maintenance cost. On the other hand, bikes too are considered unsafe and the cause of several accidents on streets. Then, who do think is the ruler of the hearts in 2018?
The top cars of 2018 have been Audi Q5, Honda Civic, Chevrolet Impala, Honda CR-V and Ford Expedition, for different ranges and budgets. The top bikes, on the other hand, have been Hero Passion Pro i3s, TVS Apache RTR 160, Royal Enfield Classic 350, Honda CB Shine, Suzuki Intruder 150 and Bajaj Pulsar 220 F 2018.
It is clear that there is tough competition between the two. While bikes are preferred for covering short distances, cars are preferred for long journeys and in cases when it is too sunny or rainy. Both the vehicles must be driven cautiously because as CEAT tyres pointed out, “The streets are filled with idiots”.
