The third wave of coronavirus may swell anytime soon as the festive season is going on and is said to be a big threat for children. With much research it is said that we can see many pediatric cases when the cases will be at its peak. Moreover the schools have opened up in many places which just aids the spread of the virus. The approval and availability of the vaccine may seem easier but there is yet no official confirmation on when the kids will actually get immunised. The reports suggest that the remaining task will be done in the upcoming week.

Beside Covaxin there might be some other vaccines which may be approved for the use in the pediatric population in India. ZyCOV-D is one such vaccine which has been granted selected nods for the use among the children above twelve years of age. Trails are still going on, no confirmation on this. Corbevex and Covovax are another two in the list which got the green lights to use between the age group of seven to forteen years of age.

Vaccine drives seem to be a big relief for the parents . but it is still unknown how long we have to wait to see the action in motion.
