Reliance Jio is now planning to launch Laptops that will have built-in cellular connection for Indian users. The company is in talks with American chipmaker Qualcomm and by the end of this year, Reliance Jio may come up with Sim card laptops.
According to a report, almost 5 million laptops are sold every year in India, with most of them utilizing Wi-Fi for connectivity. So beyond any doubt, laptops with cellular connectivity could be the next big thing in the Indian market.
The laptop is likely to run on Windows 10 and will have launch a 4G Sim card slot. It is also said that laptops will have 13.3-inch full HD display with an aspect ratio of 16: 9. The display proportion will be1920 x 1080 pixels and Internal Memory will be64GB of eMMC and 128 GB SSD. It will also have Bluetooth connectivity and VGA camera.
