I am not a movie buff but I can say that Salman Khan's charisma works well with entertainment industry ! Like most Salman Khan's films, this one too is commercial, action packed, compromising on logic , full of fun, swag and silliness!
The shooting took place in Morocco, Greece, Austria and Abu Dhabi. Indians love foreign location shoots. The production budget (including advertising) is approximately Rs 150 Crores! This makes it one of the most expensive Yash Raj productions so far. The YouTube trailer which was launched in November received 29 million views so we can see the popularity.
Despite being launched on a non-holiday , the box office collection has been Rs. 34.10 Crores on day one. Salman Zinda hai already crossed $2 million in day two in US and UK.
Vishal-Shekhar's composed music is already up on tracks, especially 'Swag se swagat....'
Thumbs up.

After his much awaited film 'tubelight' earlier this year proved to be a disappointment, Salman Khan is back with his new film 'Tiger zinda hai'. As much as a loved Bollywood actor as he is, Salman khan according to his fans 'can do no wrong' when it comes to action films. Despite not making a lot of sense plot wise (with various scenes in the film defying general logic), tiger zinda hai has been given a thumbs up by critics for its action packed thrill and the internet also seems to be praising Salman and Katrina for their performance, some even claiming it to be "bhai's best performance till date". The opening day has also proved to be rather successful for the film with pre-bookings and full houses.
However, this shouldn't come as a surprise to you because for most Indians, a great action packed entertainer with their beloved Sallu bhai and groovy dance numbers is the textbook formula for a "paisa vasool film" no matter how flawed the plot of the film might be. As NDTV correctly stated in one of their reviews, "who needs logic, when you have Salman Khan?"
