Test cricket is all about accumulating and stabilizing the innings with great determination and patience on the crease. We hardly witness that batsmen are scoring quick runs in Test cricket.
However, there are some batsmen who played against the flow of the game and made same some special records in the history of Test cricket. Legendary Caribbean, stylish left handed batsman, Brian Lara holds the record of scoring most runs in a single over in Test cricket.
Lara was playing for the West Indies against South Africa at New Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg, South Africa, on 14 December 2003, when he smashed Pro-teas left arm orthodox spinner, Robin Peterson for 28 runs in an over. Lara hit Robin Peterson for 4-6-6-4-4-4 on his six deliveries in the last over of the day.
