Awards were given to many football players at the recently held AIIF (All India Football Federation) 2017 Awards, in which Sunil Chhetri was awarded the AIFF PLAYER OF THE YEAR AWARD for his outstanding performance. Sunil Chhetri is the captain of the Indian football team. In the FIFA World Cup, he made everyone his fan with his game. Sunil Chhetri is the second Indian after Baichung Bhutia who has played more than 100 international matches. Sunil Chhetri has scored 64 goals in 102 International matches.
