Which is a better and more exciting sports- Cricket or Football?

Well, at best, the question is not only controversial but extremely subjective. Why do you want to compare apples and oranges?! Both of these sports have their separate appeal, with their unique fan base.You simply cannot comparefootball and cricketon any ground.


Cricket is more popular in Asia and Australia,Football inEurope andAfrica.(Much like Basketball andRugby intheUSA!) Each of the sportshasmillions and millions of fans. The presiding body of each of themplaysin billions of dollars. The athletes on bothsidesmake big money(and have to work equallyhard).Both of them give spectators some very thrilling moments andmemorable matches.What Sir Donald Bradmanand Sachin Tendulkarareto cricket,PeléandDiegoMaradonaareto football.


Football and Cricket, both of them are adored byan equally frenzied fan base.There’s no way one can answer whichsportis better. They are perfectly balanced.And onehasto be either biased orignorant to take one name over other.

Football is the best sport compared to cricket. Football has not changed much as compared to cricket. Test-One day-20/20. Cricket still hasn't been able to capture the whole world.

The presiding body of each of them plays in billions of dollars. The athletes on both sides make big money (and have to work equally hard). Both of them give spectators some very thrilling moments and memorable matches. What Sir Donald Bradman and Sachin Tendulkar are to cricket, Pelé and Diego Maradona are to football.
Football and Cricket, both of them are adored by an equally frenzied fan base. There’s no way one can answer which sport is better. They are perfectly balanced. And one has to be either biased or ignorant to take one name over other.
