Which new cars will be launched in India in 2018 with AMT feature?

Everybody is going gaga over Automated Manual Transmissions (AMTs) and suddenly this technology has become talk of the town. It’s been less than three years since the Maruti Celerio first introduced this technology in India by becoming the first car to offer an AMT. Now, we are in 2018 and this technology is being liked by everyone and we have very popular cars from Tata Nexon to new Mahindra KUV 100 in this segment.

Here are the upcoming most awaited AMT cars of 2018:-

1. New Hyundai Santro.

Hyundai is planning to launch a new model of it most liked hatchback in the market to replace the Eon. It’s new news for a while that new Santro’ will have an AMT and prices of the next-gen Santro will likely start around Rs 3 lakh.

2. Tata Nexon.

Tata has started gearing up to make new Nexon AMT-equipped and It seems company is just merely days away. According to the reports, the company has already started registering bookings of the upcoming variants and chances are that the prices of the AMT models will start at Rs 7 lakh.

3. Mahindra KUV 100.

Mahindra compact KUV 100 will offer an AMT option on both its engine and diesel variants. Expected to launch by the middle of this year, the new KUV100 will get a 5-speed AMT unit and prices are likely to surprise you by starting below Rs 5 lakh.

4. Ford Figo.

Ford is trying to regain its lost market value and after face-lifting new Figo they have decided to introduce the AMT feature in the upcoming models. It will have a 5-speed AMT and the price is expected to be under Rs 6 lakh.

5. Ford Aspire.

However, there is no official announcement from the company's side but according to sources the new Ford Aspire will have a new face-lift with the 5-speed AMT.
