No matter how much we bash them or neglect them due to Indo-Pak rivalry, we can’t deny our love for Pakistani artists for their talent, beauty, and whatnot. If we keep the conversation of nationalist sentiments aside for a while and see things only from an artistic lens, we just can’t ignore the Pakistani artists that have been here in Bollywood since ages.
We can’t imagine Bollywood music without Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Atif Aslam, and we all know the extent of love Fawad Khan has gained here in Bollywood.
After joining Bollywood, these Pakistani singers, actors, and actresses have become so popular that the Indian audience has become a regular viewer of Pakistani daily soaps.
Among all these, Pakistani actresses in Bollywood have a special place in our hearts. I personally admire them a lot for their good looks and their acting skills that are enough to give many Bollywood actresses a run for their money. My favorite five are listed below:
1. Mahira Khan
(Courtesy: News18.com)She had my heart as soon as I watched “Raees”. It’s not just her acting skills, which are anyways excellent as we know from her Pakistani debut movie “Bol”. Mahira Khan does have a wow factor in her personality which makes her a delight to the eyes.
2. Saba Qamar
(Courtesy: brandsynario.com)Okay to tell you the truth, I couldn’t make out while watching “Hindi Medium” that she is a Pakistani actress, such on-point was her portrayal of an Indian wife opposite Irfan Khan. It was Irfan Khan only who recommended Saba for the role after watching her acting skills in certain YouTube Videos.
3. Mawre Hocane
(Courtesy: onlinepakistandramas.com )We all know her and love her as the “Kheech Meri Photo” girl. The innocence that her face has is beyond comparison, and this fact gives her an extra edge. She also made her debut in the Pakistani movie “Bol”, and won hearts in India with “Sanam Teri Kasam”.
4. Sajal Aly
(Courtesy: Twitter)She made her Bollywood debut in the movie “Mom”, in which she got the chance to share the screen with the iconic actress Sridevi. Before this, she has appeared in various Pakistani serials. For “Mom”, she received much love and honor from India.
5. Sara Loren
(Courtesy: Highlights India)You must have seen her, and experienced her sharp acting skills in the movies “Kajraare” and “Murder 3”. Establishing herself as a great artist, she moved on to bag many roles in movies like “Barkha”, “Ishq Click”, and “Sultanat”.
