Due to Republic Day parade, these roads of Delhi will be closed.
This time the parade will be rehearsed on January before the 26 January parade. Due to this, many roads around Rajpath will be closed from 9 am to 12 noon.

According to the Delhi Traffic Police, the path of the parade will go from Vijay Chowk to Rajpath. Due to the rehearsal of the parade, the entire Rajpath from Vijay Chowk to Sea Hexgan will be closed from 9 am to 12 am on these days. During this time, people should use the ring road to go from South Delhi to North Delhi and from North Delhi towards South Delhi.

If someone wants to go to New Delhi, he can go from Mother Teresa Crescent Road via Baba Kharag Singh Road. Apart from this, people can also take the route from West Delhi to East Delhi by ring road. Changes have also been made in the routes of buses. Especially the buses that will come from South Delhi will go through the Sardar Patel Marg and go towards the Mandir Marg.

Traffic police say that due to the closure of the roads, there may be a jam in the morning, in such a situation, people avoided going around India Gate and Rajpath in the morning. Police say that people should not travel on these routes as far as possible.

Here is the route of the Parade.
Vijay Chowk – Rajpath -‘C’-Hexagon -Tilak Marg - Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg – Netaji Subhash Marg - Red Fort.

(I). No traffic on Rajpath from Vijay Chowk to India Gate from 06.00 PM on 22.01.2020 till Parade is over.

(II). No cross traffic on Rajpath from 11.00 PM on 22.01.2020 at Rafi Marg, Janpath, Man Singh Road till Parade is over.

(III). ‘C’-Hexagon-India Gate will be closed for traffic from 09.15 AM on23.01.2020 till Parade crosses Tilak Marg.

(IV). From 10.00 AM on 23.01.2020 Traffic on Tilak Marg, BSZ Marg and Subhash Marg will not be allowed on both directions. Cross Traffic will only be allowed depending upon the movement of the Parade.
