Paschimottanasana (Seated Forward Bend)- this asana helps shed out that extra fat from your belly and also helps in relieving stress and anxiety. It also regulates the irregular menstrual flow. This asana is relatively easy to practice. Sit on the floor comfortably with your spine straight and stomach engaged. Stretch your legs in front and then stretch your hands forward and touch your toes. Do this for at least 3 minutes. Inhale and return to the normal position. Repeat this asana ten times for quick results.
Kapal Bhati- this asana is quite popular and easy to perform. It has excellent health benefits associated with it. It helps in cutting that extra fat around the tummy. It increases the circulation of blood and improves the digestive system of the body. To perform Kapal bhati, sit in a comfortable position with your back straight and eyes closed. Keep your hands on the lap. Start inhaling and focus on how you exhale with a short and rhythmic breath. The stomach should expel all the air from the diaphragm and automatically inhale while decompressing your stomach. Do this, five times and see the health benefits it has with the bonus of reducing belly fat.
