He filed the PIL in January demanding the death penalty for rapists that played a crucial role behind the Center's decision in passing the ordinance to death penalty for child rapists.
While reading a newspaper he came across the news, where an 8-month-old girl was brutally raped by her 28-year-old cousin. He personally went to see her, her parents were daily wages workers and could not afford the treatment. He then decided move to the Supreme Court of India. He filed the PIL in the court and following his PIL the SC set up a medical board to examine the girl and gave the orders to authorities for proper treatment of the girl.
