MDH is a spices brand which was founded in the year 1919 in Sialkot, Pakistan. MDH is the second largest company in the Indian spices market, just following Everest Spices. MDH's headquarters can be found in New Delhi. It was founded by an Indian businessman named Mahashay Dharmpal Gulati. Till date, MDH's net income in approximately Rs. 420 crores.

After the partition of the country, he came to India and reached Delhi and purchased a Tonga.Thereafter he bought small shop in Karol Bagh, New Delhi and started his family business of ground spices named Mahasian Di Hatti(MDH).He just follows a traditionally established principle of and serving his customers through pure and quality products.Due to their honesty and knowledge about spices helps him to stand a succesful business.He was referred to as 'spice-king and awarded by Padma bhushan(India's third highest civilian award).
