Garima Arora is a 30-year-old Chef who is a partner of 18-month-old Bangkok restaurant Gaa. She was born in Mumbai and officially started her journey as a chef at the age of 21. Before that, she was working as a Journalist.

A French tyre company Michelin publish a guide known as "Michelin Guides" from centuries the guide gives stars to hotels, restaurants and chef.
The rating they give is known as Michelin star, it can make or break the image of a restaurant like it did in case of Garima Arora. Just because she won the title her restaurant is booked for months in advance.
Many male Indian Chefs are honoured as Michelin Star such as Vineet Bhatia, Sriram Aylur, Vikas Khanna and Srijith Gopinath but this is the first time a women chef to win the title.
