Shloka Mehta is the youngest daughter of diamond merchant Russell Mehta and according to sources she is going to hitch with Mukesh Ambani's eldest son, Akash.
Russell Mehta is the head of "Rosy Blue" that is one of the world's largest diamond jewellery companies and owns the retail brand Orra. The privately-owned company began diamond trading more than 50 years ago and has turn over in crores.
Ambani and Mehta's family know each other for a long time. Even Akash and Shloka studied together in Dhirubhai Ambani International School, Mumbai. So, that could be the reason that made Ambanis agree for this wedding.
However, neither the Ambani family's spokesperson nor Mehta's has confirmed these ongoing rumors and even sources close to the family say that whenever there will be good news, we will tell everyone about it.
Shloka completed her schooling in 2009. Then she went to Princeton University to study human science.
She has a master's degree in law from The London School of Economics and Political Science. She is also a director in Rosy Blue Foundation since July 2014. She is also a co-founder of ConnectFor which is an online volunteering platform that promotes a culture of volunteering.
