Aristotle is known as the Father of Biology because of his early studies on living organisms and their classification. His observations laid the foundation for the scientific study of biology.

Aristotle,the great greek philosopher & polymath is the father of biology.His biological theory is also known as “Aristotle biology” in which the five major descriptions of the biological process is mentioned namely,Temperature regulation,Metabolism,Information Processing,Embryogenesis & Inheritance.Aristotle did a wide study of the natural world & examined it with his scientific researches.He was born in 384 BC.He travelled to Lesvos in 4th century BC,there he founded the new science which was full of wildlife known as biology.
