The Earth’s gravity is a force that keeps one on the ground and this is what makes things fall to the ground if thrown up.It works like a magnet. When a person jumps up high in the air, eventually he comes down only because of the magnetic force of the earth.Even though the Earth is like a ball ,wherever we stand on the earth ,the gravitational pull makes us believe that the earth is at the bottom and the sky is above us.

Gravitational pull is the same force that holds everything on to Earth and keeps us all from floating away in the atmosphere. The Sun also has a gravity and It pulls all the planets in our solar system around it.Gravity is an invisible force that pulls objects towards one another. Just like the Moon moves around earth and the Earth circles the Sun. Earth's gravity is the reason all are on the ground and that makes things fall. The crust of the Earth has some magnetic power and the Earth's core generates its own magnetic field, Therefore the Earth can be said to be similar to a magnet.
