You have sharp eyes that you do notice such things, there is a reason for everything and Apple does the same thing. They pay close attention to everything and even when it comes to prints ads and commercials, they leave no stone unturned.

The time 9:41 AM, they chose to display on their iPhones, iPads and even on MacBooks is the time in the morning When Steve Jobs announced the very first iPhone in 2007.

Actually, when the first picture of the iPhone Steve Jobs showed to the world, it was displaying the time 9:42 Am on the screen behind him. But that all changed in 2010, when the very first iPad was released.

If you go to Apple's site right now, the time set on the devices is always 9:41. The only reason that it used to be 9:42 earlier because former iOS chief Scott Forstall once revealed that "the iPhone was launched around 40 minutes into the presentation".

They made the iPhone time was 9:42 when it appears on the screen that was pretty accurate time to be close on the audience's watches. Even Jobs announced the phone at exactly 9:42 but in 2010 they decided to go with 9:41 for no solid reason at all.
