Why is a Hindu priest asking Marvel Comics to apologize?

It is on the account of an instance that occurs in the new X-Man series, Uncanny X-Men, which is said to hurt Hindu sentiments.
In a scene in the comic book, the X-man destroys all the monuments of religion, including Vatican City, Mecca in Saudi Arabia, and a Hindu temple in Thiruvananthapuram.

“It was very hurtful to the Hindu community because a popular platform like Marvel labelled a sacred and highly revered Hindu temple as a fake house of worship,” says the Hindu priest. (Source: tribune.com.pk)
It is, according to me, the height of religious fanaticism. Since centuries, the demolition of the places of worship has been shown through various sources of entertainment, to make one point or the other. And not just the demolition of the buildings, the criticism of religion and religious feelings has been an integral part of movies, novels, comics, etc., especially, that of Islam.
So this kind of irrational demand from a Hindu cleric is nothing but a foolish and fanatic act.
