Why is Sunny Deol’s Lok Sabha membership in danger of coming to an end?

It seems like Sunny Deol’s career prospects are not great when seen out of his reel life. His latest achievement of winning a Lok Sabha seat from Gurdaspur has changed into a loss. He might have secured the seat in Lok Sabha, but now his seat is in danger as Election Commission is considering to end his Lok Sabha membership.

It has been found out that Sunny Deol spent more than the prescribed amount of money in his election campaign, which is against the Model Code of Conduct. And as per the reputation of EC, it is very strict in such kind of cases.
According to the Code of Conduct, no candidate can spend more than 70 Lakh rupees in her election campaign.
Sunny Deol has spent 86 Lakhs in the same. Rules say that in such a case, the membership of the candidate will end and the candidate who was in second position will get the seat. So if EC follows these rules strictly, Sunny Deol’s membership in Lok Sabha will end very soon.
