Why was President Donald Trump soft on Russia and Putin?

It isn’t just a hype or imagination under which Hillary and the opposition hide their face. Russia did meddle in the 2016 US election. And they were the primary reason why Trump became the President. Only last week the special counsel issued an indictment of 12 Russian intelligence officers in interfering in the poll by hacking into democrat’s presidential campaign.

So, do you really think that President Donald Trump would take a tough stance against Russian and President Vladimir Putin? After all, they are the reason why he won the election in the first place. Why would he be ***** Putin?

The private meeting between Trump and Putin in Helsinki was expectedly happening for either party. It was expected that Trump would go easy on his Russian counterparts. Even before the meeting, on multiple occasions, Trump has praised Putin and Russia. While diplomatically it might have been a sane move on many fronts, the real agenda behind this was all political.

Russia helped Trump won the election; now it’s payback time for Trump. A classic case of pro quo.

Don’t expect this coziness between Trump and Putin fade any time soon. In fact, if Trump decides to stand for the office for another term, all eyes will really be on Russia. They can again play a game-changer for the USA.
