Will PM Modi talk to Pakistan?

Pakistan has not-so-good relations with India since the partition and the formation of the former nation. And Pakistan has never missed a chance to interfere in India’s Kashmir issue ever since the days of India’s Freedom Struggle. After experiencing a biting defeat at the hand of India twice in war, Pakistan’s behavior has not changed with its parent nation.

The matter, however, is different right now. With disrupted international relations and degrading financial condition, Pakistan is now trying to talk to India about the tension between the two nations. But according to India, there is no scope of talks and conversations right now. Modi knows this quite well, and hence is silent on this offer of Pakistan.

Until and unless Pakistan backs off on Kashmir issue, there is no point talking to it. Indian leaders and politicians know Pakistan’s intentions quite well. They haven’t forgotten the treachery of Pakistan over Shimla agreement and Kargil. So expecting that PM Modi will hold a conversation with Pakistan is quite useless. Being a good leader, he understands the sentiments of Indians and hence will not talk to Pakistan.
