It has just been more than two years since Reliance Jio became available to the public and Jio has already become India’s third largest telecommunication. Reliance Jio had shaken up the entire telecommunication industry ever since it arrived as it provided free services for the first six months and then at very cheap prices.
One of the bigger impacts that Jio has created in the industry is that it made all the other operators reduce their service prices and bring it close to the Reliance Jio’s service charges. Vodafone has also introduced its plans called SuperPlans which are similar to that of Reliance Jio’s plans. Super plans include unlimited data plans, local, national and roaming free calls and SMS just as any of the Jio plans. Have a look at the Vodafone’s SuperPlans-

Now you can already see that there is a huge similarity from Reliance Jio’s plans in Vodafone’s SuperPlans. Jio has categorized its plans into 1.5 GB packs, 2GB packs to 5 GB packs. Each one of them includes free local, national and roaming calls and 100 SMS per day.
However, if you are stuck in deciding to pick one from Jio and Vodafone then it will depend on whether you want a stronger and faster connection or a cheaper one. Reliance Jio’s services and plans are cheaper than Vodafone’s but Vodafone has a stronger network and speed as compared to that of Jio.

Until now, we were seeing Jio and Airtel competing with each other to rule the telecom sector. But Vodafone and Idea have also joined the race and are not much behind than the former two. Both the companies have introduced new combo prepaid plans. Vodafone is aggressively giving its users new plans and new happiness in the form of telecom services.

Looking at the current plans that Vodafone has introduced, it is being predicted that Vodafone will soon give a tough competition to Jio. In one of the new plans, Vodafone users will get unlimited roaming and data advantage.
Earlier too, Vodafone introduced a 159 Rs plan, in which the customers used to get free calling services for 250 minutes per day and 1000 minutes per week.
What’s special in the new Vodafone plan:
• Vodafone is giving data pack of the whole year in Rs 1499/-. Calling and other services will also be free under this plan.
• Calling, data, and SMS will also be free for 365 days.
• The plan has been introduced to beat Jio’s Rs. 1699/- plan.
• Jio gives free calling service, 1.5 GB data per day, 100 SMS, along with Jio TV, Jio movies, Jio Saavan subscription for free in Rs. 1699/-.
• The data in the Vodafone’s plan, much like Jio, will be 4G.
