According to an annual survey, toxic pollutants from airplanes take the lives of at least 10,000 people in a year. Studies suggest that there is a higher risk of dying due to increasing exposure to toxic pollutants airplane exhaust than the risk of a plane crash. While air crash has taken the lives of about 1000 people on an annual basis, studies have suggested that people have been harmed more greatly from the airplane during taking off and landing. The new study is one of the first to provide a comprehensive report on the number of deaths that has an occurred prematurely from airplane emissions.
Unregulated emissions have resulted in unprecedented deaths in the country. Airplane exhaust is composed of dangerous and fatal pollutants like nitrogen oxides, sulfur dioxide, and other pollutants. A majority of these pollutants are composed of hundreds and millions of tiny particles that are smaller than the size of human hair. A study has brought about the collaboration of records of the amount of estimated aircraft pollutant emissions. Globally, the study has estimated that over 8000 deaths have resulted due to pollution emitting from airplanes in a year. It is indeed a frightening number and needs careful discretion.
