Why do I love Bollywood movies so much? It is because it depicts the same relationships and emotions that we see at our homes. When it comes to relationships, I found parent and child or father-son relation to be best shown by our directors. Indian movies showcase the relationship between father and son on different scales, some show love while others show hatred.

When it comes to a loving father-son relation movie, I really like Waqt. It stars Akshay Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan, the best actors of Hindi movies. The pure love and respect between the characters is shown in a beautiful way. Every time I watch this movie, tears automatically roll down my cheeks.

Another interesting father-son movie that shows a darker side is Mughal-e-azam. It is the story of Salim and Akbar who fight against each other for Salim’s love Anarqali. This movie shows different shades of the parent and child relationship. If you have not watched it yet, then you should do it now. Missing such classics would make you regrettable. These are family oriented movies and watching them with your entire family will make your bonds stronger with each other. I do that, do you? If no then start this weekend.
