Yes, blind people do dream, but not everyone experiences visual images in their dreams. It depends on whether the person was born blind or lost their vision later in life. People who are born blind do not see visual dreams because they have never had visual experiences stored in the brain. However, people who become blind later in life may still see visual images in dreams based on their past memories.

Dreams occur during the REM (Rapid Eye Movement) sleep stage, when the brain is highly active and processes memories, emotions, and sensory information. Dreaming is created by brain activity and does not depend only on eyesight. In some cases, the visual cortex of the brain may still be active, especially in people who previously had vision.

People who are born blind experience dreams through other senses such as sound, touch, smell, taste, emotions, and movement. Their dreams are non-visual but still vivid and real to their perception.

People who lose their vision later in life may still have visual dreams because the brain stores past visual memories. Over time, visual elements may become less frequent, but other senses often become stronger in their dreams.

From a scientific point of view, neuroscience research shows that dreaming is a brain-based process and is not dependent on eyesight. The brain constructs dreams using memory and sensory signals during REM sleep.

Blind people do dream, but whether they can “see” dreams depends on their vision history. Dreams are created by brain activity, memory, and sensory perception, not just eyesight.

Dreams are created by the mind. And things we see in dreams are whatever we think about life. Their dreams can be different from others. but yes they can see dreams
