No, not at all. Love, and sex just can’t be equalized at any stage, even if we call sex as “making love”.
Does Love Always Equal Sex in Real Emotional Relationships?
But then there is this hedonist school of thought which believes that gratifying your desires means being human truly, and even Renaissance Humanism distanced humans from gods and angels because they have materialistic desires which need to be fulfilled.
So it may be different in earlier time, but in modern times I think, love and sex are equal.
Plenty of people have sex without love. Some men will have sex with women they wouldn’t want to talk to or be seen with other than for sex. Asexuals can fall in love, but they have no desire for sex.
That said, sex does things to our minds that may cause us to feel we love the person we’re having sex with. If we actually love them this builds the love. If we don’t it creates a false impression of love. This, IMHO, is why it’s a good idea to save sex for a loving relationship.
Depends on person to person, if someone loves sex then that person won't be able to differentiate between Love and Sex on the other hand is someone knows the real meaning of love, that person will always prefer love over sex.
By saying the above statement I never meant that sex is not important or it does not have any value in life. Earlier having sex had only one meaning which is marriage, but now the generation has changed so the thought process. Neither they were wrong nor the today's generation because time keeps on changing and with time people do change. The easiest way to leave peaceful life is to accept the change.
So, it is not wrong if someone is in love and wants to have sex and if someone only wants to have sex but not in love. Things should always move with mutual understanding then only a relationship blooms.
