Kushana rulers extended the thoughts of sovereignty and exemplified their high status twoly:
• They set up monster sculptures of themselves in an altar at Mat close to Mathura and Afghanistan. This depicted the holiness of lords.
• They embraced titles, for example, devaputra or "child of God" as they viewed themselves as supernatural and children of paradise.
