How many nations had participated in the 2018 Asian Games?

The 2018 Asian Games was a continental multi sport event held in Jakarta and Palembang. It was also known as Jakarta- palembang 2018 or Indonesia 2018. Events were held in two main cities included venues in Bandung and the provinces of West Java and Banten. In 2018 Asian Games, there were total 45 nations as participants. The games were of 465 in 46 sports. Even Israel has participated in this event after the year 1974.

The 2018 Asian Games were held in Jakarta & Palembang, Indonesia. It was the 18th edition of the Asian Games and 45 nations competed over 465 events in 46 sports. China won 289 medals in that edition, which was the most medals that year.
