The term IPC stands for Indian Penal Code. It consists various chapter which is furthur divided into more sections. There are total 23 chapters which are that comprises of 511 sections. It lists down all the crimes and punishments for all types of criminal and wrong actions. The all sections of IPC deals with the attempts to commit offences which is punishable with any imprisonment under the Indian Penal Code. The main IPC section is Section 1- Title and extent of operation of the Code.
