I was around 12 years old when I had my first celebrity crush. That was also the age when I had just started watching more Bollywood movies, and my first celebrity crush was Shah Rukh Khan.
I don't even remember one exact movie or moment when I started liking him. It was more like the more movies I watched, the more I understood why everyone was so obsessed with SRK. Then, a few years later, Student of the Year happened.
The 2012 film introduced Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan as leading actors alongside Alia Bhatt. And yes, both Sidharth and Varun immediately made it to my celebrity-crush list.
At that age, Student of the Year was exactly the kind of movie that could do that. The glamorous college, songs, friendships, competition, and clothes; and then Sidharth and Varun looking like that throughout the film.
Sidharth had that calm, good-looking, slightly serious personality, while Varun had a completely different energetic and fun vibe. So choosing one wasn't really necessary. Both worked.
