Find out what they want and what they are looking for. Some buyers are looking for specific qualities in a product, so if you have a unique product it will be easier for you to find the right buyer who requires those characteristics. If you don't have a unique product, there are still ways you can make your business more attractive and easier to sell by using words such as "new", "best price", or "great quality".
Know what the market is like. It's important to know where other sellers of your type of products are selling their items, so that you can set competitive prices while still making money.
