Unlocking an iPad passcode without a computer is possible, but only through official Apple methods that protect user security. The most effective option is using Find My iPad (iCloud). If the “Find My” feature was enabled before the device was locked, you can go to iCloud.com on any mobile device, sign in with the same Apple ID, select Find My, choose your iPad, and tap Erase iPad.
This will remove the passcode and reset the device. Another built-in option is using Apple’s Recovery Mode directly on the iPad (available only on some models with iPadOS 15.2 or later), where entering multiple wrong passcodes eventually shows the “Erase iPad” option on the lock screen allowing you to reset it using your Apple ID.
Without Apple ID credentials or “Find My” enabled, there is no legitimate way to unlock the device without a computer, as Apple’s security system protects user data from unauthorized access.
