How To Verify PAN Card Number, Basic Details?

PAN card is an important identity proof for every Indian citizen. It is used for various purposes such as opening a bank account, buying or selling assets, receiving the salary and others. This document has to be preserved carefully. PAN card has 10 alphanumeric numbers. If you want to check the details of your PAN card, you can do it online. NSDL has the authority for verification of PAN card. The verification of PAN card is of 3 types which are Screen Based, file-based and software based.

Firstly, you have to log in to NSDL online PAN verification service. Maximum 5 PANs can be verified and submitted in screen-based PAN verification system. In the case of file-based PAN card verification system, the users have to log in first and then they have to upload 1000 PANs in the file structure suggested by NSDL. Then one has to click on the option of "submit". Within 24 hours of submission, the users will get all the details of PAN card. In the

case of software-based PAN verification, the user will get the details via the software application.
