For ages Bihar has become synonymous with anarchy and lawlessness. The reign by Lalu

Prasad Yadav has also been termed as jungle raj by many in the country. Lalu Prasad Yadav

was convicted in a corruption scam which was what approximately Rs.9 50 crore. Despite

electing him and his party to power. The answer to be a bewildering question how many. It is

This is not the easiest of questions to answer. It has been proven beyond a reasonable doubt that Lalu Prasad Yadav has been involved in massive corruption. But what is surprising is the way he keeps on bouncing back. Experts are of the opinion that had it been any other state and had it been someone else in place of Lalu Prasad, it would have been curtains for that person. There are reasons why people of Bihar keep on electing him or his party .

One of the most important reasons cited by political gurus of the country is the fact that no other leader has so much of social contact than Lalu. Right from the early days of his political career, Lalu has been working at the grass root level and hence has managed to gain unthinkable popularity. He is charismatic and an excellent speaker and above all has delivered whenever he has been entrusted with any responsibility. The social dynamics of the state of Bihar has also an important role to play here. They consider Lalu as one of their own; who speaks like them, dresses like them and have been by their side throughout. Another important reason that has been pointed out by the experts is the fact that there are no alternatives in Bihar who can replace Lalu Prasad Yadav.
