Is merchant navy a good field to work or not?

Those who are looking for an adventurous life and earn a lot of money at the same time, for them merchant navy would just be the perfect option. There is, however, one aspect which needs to be considered. Those who join the merchant navy will have to stay away from home for a long period of time. However, this detachment is well compensated. In terms of career opportunities, the merchant navy has a lot to offer. It is one of the most lucrative career opportunities. Those who aspire to get into the merchant navy, for them there are various options available. They can join as a radio operator, administrative staffs or even as marine engineers.
These days, there are lots of openings available in this field. Pay scale has increased than earlier; besides, there are numerous other benefits which one is entitled to. Those who are wondering and are in a dilemma whether to go for this option or not, merchant navy is indeed a good field to work. Most of the people tend to retire much early. However, those who decide to continue can attain very high positions. The aspirants of merchant navy need to prepare themselves for a life which is not as comfortable as any routine job; especially when they are on board.
