According to the faith of different people, there can be different views on weather the almighty has a definite shape. According to me, almighty is shapeless, and takes the shape of our beliefs.
It is our thoughts that provide a shape to the almighty, otherwise it has no existence at all. The statues and idols that we have of various gods are the popular representations that came to be generally accepted over time.
In
vedas, it is written that God or almighty keeps changing forms according to his wish and our necessities. One example is
various incarnations of Lord Vishnu. We say God is everywhere. It is because people who have faith in some higher power which is guiding us, are everywhere. Their faith justifies the existence of God.
God is in nature for pagans, in idols and stones for religious believers, and even in animals for fanatics. We can see the manifestation of god even in humans whom we love unconditionally. Surely, if almighty can take the form of love, nature, and stones, it can change as many shapes as the number of thoughts and beliefs we have.
