Yes, the fashion industry is extremely competitive. It is a global industry worth trillions of dollars, with a wide range of players, from small independent designers to large multinational corporations. The industry is also constantly evolving, with new trends emerging all the time.

There are a number of factors that contribute to the competitiveness of the fashion industry. One is the high level of creativity required. Fashion designers need to be able to come up with new and innovative designs that will appeal to consumers. They must also be able to anticipate future trends and stay ahead of the curve.

Another factor that contributes to the competitiveness of the fashion industry is the short product lifecycle. Fashion trends change quickly, so designers and retailers need to be able to get new products to market quickly. Achieving this demands a significant degree of synchronization and effectiveness across the entire supply chain.

The rise of e-commerce has also made the fashion industry more competitive. Online retailers have access to a global customer base and can offer a wide range of products at competitive prices. This has made it more difficult for traditional brick-and-mortar retailers to compete.

Despite the high level of competition, the fashion industry is still a thriving industry. Consumers are always looking for new and stylish clothes, and there is a lot of room for innovation. However, businesses in the fashion industry need to be aware of the competitive landscape and develop strategies to stay ahead of the curve.

People will do anything to climb the ladder in the industry.

It is not uncommon to find PA’s or Models sleeping with designers for a better spot or solo.

You practically have no friends, except for the older models.

Now as for the designers, they are friendly with eachother. Except for the President of Gucci. She is a fairly mean one.
