Undoubtedly, fashion industry is growing at a very higher pace. So, yes! It includes lot of competition. It has grown tremendously over past few years. Although, it is not an old term, but from recent years it has started leaving it's great impact on people.

Why is it becoming more competitive?

Answer is, because we currently live in a country which is very much influenced by English Culture. Also, these days society is relatively more bounded by the social media and news. This leads to over consumption tendency ,due to this temptation big retailers such as H&M and Zara produce more variety every week.

Fashion is easily and quickly copied now a days. The change of pace in production and competition has brought problems such as damage to an environment, loss of value ,fashion waste and unethical behavior.

There are no doubt more industries more jobs, but young generation want to go into this field due to wider scope they see.Letsdiskuss

People will do anything to climb the ladder in the industry.

It is not uncommon to find PA’s or Models sleeping with designers for a better spot or solo.

You practically have no friends, except for the older models.

Now as for the designers, they are friendly with eachother. Except for the President of Gucci. She is a fairly mean one.
