Name some highly educated politicians of India

Indian politicians and education usually don’t go well with each other. From politicians who just have studied till 6th or 12th standards to those who have produced fake degrees, India has all kinds of educated, ill-educated, uneducated, and fake-educated politicians. Even our respected Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has failed to prove his educational qualifications he boasts of.
There are some politicians, however, who boast of higher education degrees from acclaimed Indian and foreign universities. Some of these are listed below:
1. Shashi Tharoor
(Courtesy: Live Law)There is no better politician to start the list with. This Indian politician acquired a Ph.D. at just the age of 22. He under graduated from St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi, and did his MA in law and diplomacy from the Tufts University.
2. Rahul Gandhi

The Congress president under graduated from Harvard University and did his M Phil from Cambridge University.
3. Manmohan Singh

But he deserves his due respect, not because he has degrees, but because he is one of those rare politicians who have actually used their education to benefit the country. He has degrees, the highest one being D Phil in Economics from the University of Oxford.
4. Akhilesh Yadav

5. Arvind Kejriwal

6. Arun Jaitley

7. Ram Nath Kovind
