Going to graduate school is not an easy task. When to apply for grad school? How do we know the right time to take admission? Should we go right after undergrad? Here are some things to consider to help us to decide when to apply for Grad School.
1). The expectation in the interested field: Firstly figure out if your field of interest expects any kind of postgraduate professional experience.
2). Personal Life and relationship: This is very true that if you are already working, full time/part time; you may have to move, you will have a completely different schedule. It will also have a big impact on your relationship if you have a partner and children also.
3). Cost and Finance: Graduate school is costly. If you have some kind of savings and you feel that you can easily afford the expenses then you can apply for graduate school.
Once you decided that you are ready to apply for Grad school then there are a lot of things you’ll need to accomplish like; decide on a school, take the GRE, gather recommendations, request transcripts, write an application essay, and many more. Most Grad schools have a deadline of December or January.
