When you are a newbie to the gym, you are very confused what to do in the beginning days. You meet a lot of people in the gym that may tell you sweating is the first sign you are working out right. But, this is not the case if you are not sweating out it does not mean you are not working out. Below are five basic exercises you can begin your gym journey with them:
Make the standing position with hip distance apart stand and extend your hands forward. Now, bend your knees a little bit and while going down maintain the posture of your hips parallel to the floor. Don’t forget to keep your back steady and straight.
Stand straight with hip distance apart. You can hold some light weights during this exercise. Move your right leg forward and bent your left leg as well. Do not touch your knees to the ground and repeat the same with left leg.
3. Chest press
One of the best exercises for beginners, lie down on the machine, bend your knees and keep your feet apart, hold weight according to you and extend your arms up and bring them back down.
4. Bent over row
You need weight for this exercise. Stand feet apart and extend your arms forward with holding weight, bend from waist and look straight.
5. Overhead press
The standing position will remain same as bent over row. In this exercise, the posture of back remains the same and arms go over the head.
