The inclusion of fermenting bacteria, such as Streptococcus thermophiles and Lactobacillus delbrueckii ssp. bulgaricus, causes yoghurt, a fermented dairy product, to ferment and become acidic. Additionally, it has been demonstrated in vitro that yoghurt extract promotes the remineralization of dental enamel and guards against demineralization.

Yogurt often has a greater protein content than milk and is a great source of important amino acids. Additionally a wonderful source of B vitamins is yoghurt. Yogurt's active bacterial cultures facilitate some milk protein predigestion, producing higher levels of free amino acids that improve protein digestibility.

Yogurt has a lot of lean protein (nearly 30 percent of the recommended daily values). Morning protein consumption affects how satisfied you feel throughout the day. Nearly 25–40% of your daily calcium needs are found in yoghurt. For people who cannot have milk, it might be used as a replacement.

You'll be surprised by the advantages a yoghurt may have on your health. Yogurt contains a lot of calcium, therefore frequently consuming yoghurt is excellent for your bones. Additionally, it enhances immunity, supports digestion, and provides defence against certain illnesses. Yogurt, however, may have negative consequences, particularly in people who are lactose intolerant or allergic to milk.
