Gothic Novel is an European romantic fiction. It also includes a horro theme. It is found that this novel is taken by one of the novel of famous English author, Horace walpole named as The Castle of Otranto. It is based on emotions, literature, terror, romance, etc. It is called Gothic because it is derived from German. It was one of the best sellers in it's own scenario. It is said to be the first combination of romanticism and horror.
